The The CSAC Finance Corporation currently has four (4) out of its eleven (11) Board seats coming to the end of their terms at the close of the calendar year 2023. These positions include one Suburban County Supervisor, one County Administrative Officer, one County Agency or Department Head, and one Public Member. The CSAC Finance Corporation Board of Directors consists of 11 prescribed seats and is appointed by the CSAC Executive Committee. Incumbent Board members may be reappointed at the end of their term if they wish to continue serving.
CSAC Finance Corporation and its Board are dedicated to providing essential services to California counties while also generating revenue. As a nonprofit organization, revenue proceeds are contributed to CSAC. The organization is involved in various lines of business, including the administration of the California Statewide Communities Development Authority conduit bond issuer program, the CalTRUST investment pool, intellectual property/marketing agreements with Nationwide for deferred compensation services, California Coverage & Health Initiative, Easy Smart Pay, and many other valuable services for counties. Additionally, new programs are continually in development.
The CSAC Finance Corporation has a longstanding entrepreneurial spirit and practice. They seek ideal board members who are actively engaged, well-connected, respected among their peers, and willing to drive and promote programs, providing essential leadership to advance the organization’s mission. The CSAC Finance Corporation Board conducts in-person meetings twice a year (in Spring and Fall), holds monthly board calls, and requires various other leadership commitments throughout the year.
