Accepting Board Vacancy Nominations for CSAC Finance Corporation

The CSAC Finance Corporation is inviting applicants to fill upcoming vacancies for Board of Director positions. The three designated position vacancies are:

• Rural County Supervisor
• County Agency or Department Head
• Public Member

The CSAC Finance Corporation Board of Directors consists of 11 seats, appointed by the CSAC Executive Committee. Board members serve a designated term and may be reappointed at the Executive Committee’s discretion.

About the Role

Board members are instrumental in advancing the organization’s mission to provide essential services to counties and generate revenue that supports advocacy. The ideal candidates are engaged leaders, well-connected, respected by peers, and passionate about expanding the reach and effectiveness of CSAC Finance Corporation programs.

Commitment Expectations:

• Bi-annual in-person Board meetings in the Spring and Fall.
• Monthly board meetings via teleconference and participation in additional leadership responsibilities throughout the year.
• Involvement and engagement during various CSAC and CSAC FC functions throughout the year and advocacy for CSAC FC’s mission and priorities.

Programs and Services

The CSAC Finance Corporation operates a range of valuable programs for California’s counties, including the California Statewide Communities Development Authority, the CalTRUST investment pool, Nationwide deferred compensation services, to name a few.
